So I needed a mechanical keyboard that would fit in my laptop bag and travel with me easily. I also wanted red LED backlit keys because red doesn't harm night vision, and cherry mx brown keys so I could still have tactile feedback without waking up my wife and making her angry.

This keyboard fit all the bills. Actually, it was the only one that fit all the bills. Other brands had keyboards that were close-but-not-quite exactly what I wanted. I do miss the 10-key pad (this is "tenkeyless") more than I thought I would, but it's a small price to pay for the portability I need.

The included USB cable is very nice. It also comes with a bag that is very handy for keeping the keys from getting snagged on things, and the bag feels high quality. Everything about this keyboard feels high quality, especially compared to my old crappy Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. This build quality is more on par with Das Keyboard. It came with a key puller as well.

The cable is detachable and can be routed left, right or center of the keyboard.

The only disadvantage to this, and a possible dealbreaker, is that unlike every other keyboard I've used with a backlight, this one forgets the backlight setting every time it loses power. This means every reboot, every time your computer goes to sleep, etc., you will have to turn the backlight back on. This doesn't seem right and I'm hoping it's a defect that the seller will rectify.

Aside from the mentioned issue, it would get 5 stars. I use it for programming (lots of typing) and starcraft 2 (lots of banging.)
