I've had three of these models, none lasted longer than 3 months. The heads go bad quickly. Tracking is nearly impossible and the resolution, even using super-vhs tapes, is nowhere near the quality of the high end JVC machines. Spend the extra $$$ and get the JVC HRS-9900U top of the line model. You only get what you pay for and you don't get much from a low price super vhs machine.
