The legs can all be adjusted individually to 3 different angles (25� 50° 80°) for uneven terrain and low angle shooting. I purchased this today after testing it at BH Photo (the top AV store in New York City). I also tested its somewhat in-class competitor, the Manfrotto carbon fiber model. Guess what? The carbon fiber is about the same weight with a head as this, and it costs $200 for the legs alone. You must buy the head separately. Anyhow, let me talk about this tripod.

First, it has a FLUID HEAD. The box itself fails to mention that. The head moves so fluidly and although it says photo tripod on the box, I use it for video with my Canon HD camera. WOW, this is an amazing tripod. Second, it has two axes (handlebars?) of controls, one for each hand. This allows for more precise motion. Third, it has a built in level. How useful! Fourth, it is lightweight, comes with a FREE tripod bag inside the box! Fifth, it is quite small so you can stow it away. Sixth, it is the BEST price to value ratio you will ever find on a tripod. I spent about 4 hours at BH Photo researching all the latest tripods that are fairly portable, light, and are professional quality.

I make YouTube videos (my username is "scir91" - see some videos using this tripod) and when motion is required, you can see that there is no jerk from point A to point B. It's a totally smooth/fluid motion.
