This works as advertised. I have a Universal Remote MX-850 and I can control my iTouch with this remote and the PSX-2. All the info you would want to see is shown on your TV screen. You need component video inputs (Y Pb Pr) as input to the TV as well as audio inputs. The dock adapter that came with your iPod will fit in the PSX-2. You may also show videos from your iPod on the TV. Unless I am mistaken, you are not able to display photos, but iTunes will not display photos on your PC so I guess that's an Apple restriction. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "UNIVERSAL IPOD A/V SERVER" are high quality item.
