Good Designaudio-technica SOLID BASS Built-in headphone amplifier Wireless stereo headset ATH-CKS99BT Review
I have had these for about one month now. Still great.I got these in Japan for around $70. These are the best headphones I have ever owned. Of course the shape and size of the ear buds have a big part of that. With these in and sound off, the noise canceling is great. And when they are on, I can not hear anything going on outside.I have a $60 pair of over the ear headphones and the PS3 wireless headset. These earbuds are the best.
After charging, it paired to my android Galaxy Note and all the buttons worked with all my music and video apps. I listened to Afro Blu from the album Black Radio. Then from Soundcloud I listened to Elhae- All Away. "Elhae - All Away" has some pretty deep bass, and it sounded great. Listened to some Bone Thugs n Harmony. All the base is there. I really feel like I am hearing music again.
APT-x works. My phone does not have it, so watching videos, the audio lags. But my iMac does have apt-x and there is no lag.
My one complaint. The cable is not long enough to clip to my belt, but too long to clip to my coller. It does not really clip to my shirt unless I wear a polo. I usually clip it to my messenger bag strap. When I work out, I run it inside my shirt and clip it to my sleeve. Same when I am on my bicycle trainer. And it is great to watch a movie on my computer while on the bicycle trainer and have good sound over the hum of my rollers.
This comes with a nice case, 4 sizes of earbuds, and a usb charger. The packaging is nice, but once you take everything out it would be a pain to put back in.
Instructions are all in Japanese. The pairing button is next to the charging port behind a panel on the bottom. There is a slider that locks the buttons one way, and is on/off in the other direction. You have to hold it in position for a second for the on/off to register, and it will give a beep when it registers. I turned the volume on my phone all the way up, and then used the volume on the unit to adjust the amp volume. I can never turn it all the way up. The lights blink to tell you stuff.
I get almost 10 hours of use these and I use an app called Bluetooth Headset Battery. It simply has a timer or you can set a count down for whenever you use one of your bluetooth devices (you can have up to like 8 I think).
Great product, I hope the price comes down in the states.
