The converter works, but in a limited fashion and it comes with NO documentation. So, here's your best bet:

1. Set your resolution before you plug the PC into the converter. (using a monitor)
2. The best resolution for this unit is 1024x768 with a refresh rate of 70 or 75. A refresh rate of 60 will cause it to blink frequently and it gets VERY annoying.
3. If you don't know exactly how to set that, got to Control Panel, then Display, then the Settings tab, then Advanced and then Adapter. Select "List all modes" and select the one closest to 1024x768 with a refresh rate of 70. 32-bit color is fine.

Apply your changes, turn off the PC and connect it to your converter and TV. Give it some time to sync with the TV and it should work OK.

I'm giving three stars because of a) the limited range of settings that will work, and b) the lack of documentation. But, if you can work within the settings listed above it's a good deal for the price.
